Near: Markkleeberger Lake about 9 kilometers south of the Old Town

The Atlanta Hotel in Leipzig is not centrally located in Leipzig, but that’s okay because it offers a lot of views. The hotel is situated between the Markkleeberger Lake and the city if you’d like to stop by the lake to relax. Still, the train station is within driving distance of the hotel. 

The monument to the Battle of the Nations is a short distance from the hotel. There is also the Leipzig Botanical Gardens, a museum of art, a museum of musical instruments, and a museum of books and papers. Just because you are not centrally located in the city of Leipzig does not mean there isn’t much for you to see. 

Every room  comes with designer furniture, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a telephone, and a mini bar.
